2023/2024 Cancellation / Inclement Weather Policy

In the event you are able to find someone to fill your spot, just let Scrapping by the Sea know of the registration name change.

You are responsible for obtaining payment from your replacement.

If you cancel at least 30 days prior to the event, you will get a refund minus a $25 cancelation fee or the option to move your payment to another crop.
If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the event, no refunds, credits or rescheduling will be issued. ** Please do not inquire about refunds in this case **
If inclement weather is happening in your area that prevents you from attending one of our scrapbook retreats, Scrapping by the Sea, Gina Fries, cannot be responsible. No refunds or credits will be issued.
If the venue/hotel where Scrapping by the Sea, Gina Fries, is hosting an event has inclement weather and the hotel/venue has to cancel, the event will be rescheduled. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, no refunds or credits will be issued. NOTE: If the hotel does not close for inclement weather, the retreat is still scheduled and will continue. No refunds or credits will be is-sued.
There are NO refunds for “no shows”. As a courtesy, please notify Scrapping by the Sea if you are unable to attend.
Once you have arrived at the event, there will NO refunds if you leave early.
NO refunds will be given due to natural disasters, national emergencies, or Acts Of God, as Scrapping by the Sea, Gina Fries, is still responsible to pay the venue and expenses.
If you are unable to attend your welcome gift, thanks gifts and prizes will be forfeit.

COVID 19 Policy

By checking the box below, you acknowledge the following: While participating in events held or sponsored by the Scrapping by the Sea Events, consistent with CDC guidelines, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, “social distancing” and wear face coverings to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, Scrapping by the Sea has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, Scrapping by the Sea cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in Scrapping by the Sea events and/or other face to face activities. By attending an Scrapping by the Sea event, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:

1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others; or

2. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.
